Be A Rescuer Of Street Children in Kenya

Jambo African Missions Supporters,

In over 17 years of ministry, the Lord has granted us the grace to:

• plant 21 Tabernacle churches in Kenya

• feed 475 orphan children lunch daily;

• another 100 children for Saturday lunches

• minister and provide food for 85 HIV-infected widows;

• Our latest ministry project is to partner with Dr. Charles Mully and the Mully Children Family to build a street children rescue home in the western province of Kenya, in Malave County.

I met Dr. Mully in February 2022 while on a mission trip to Kenya, and we immediately became good friends. This one-time former millionaire walked away from the world’s wealth to devote his life to rescuing children off the streets of Kenya.

His life story is so phenomenal that Hollywood made a movie about him. You can view the movie “Mully” on YouTube, Netflix, or Amazon Prime, to learn more about this remarkable man’s life story. The movie is what inspired me to want to meet this man and partner with him in the work of rescuing vulnerable Kenyan children abandoned by their parents.

The Widespread problem:

According to International Needs UK, approximately 300,000 children live on the streets of Kenya. We have come across many vulnerable children who are homeless, and our heart breaks for them because they are exposed to cold, hunger, violence, sex trafficking, drugs, gangs, illnesses, diseases, and a life of hopelessness. We aim to change this at African Missions Project. Furthermore, we are partnering with Dr. Charles Mully and the Mully Children Family to build the Twelfth Street Children Rescue Home in Malave County in the Western Province of Kenya.

We Are Uniquely Qualified To Change The Trajectory Of These Precious Children's Lives:

Having experienced this widespread epidemic personally while on mission trips in Kenya, we are uniquely qualified to alleviate these precious children's suffering. By partnering with Mully Children Family, who have rescued over 30,000 children off the streets of Kenya and have built 11 Street Children Rescue Centers throughout the nation. We can help transform their lives from one of hopelessness to hope. We will be rescuing 200 of Kenya's most vulnerable children off the streets and providing them with a roof over their heads, a warm bed, three nutritious meals a day, education, vocational training, trauma counseling, and of course, the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Why Western Kenya?

Although MCF has done wonderful work in rescuing over 30,000 street children in Kenya since 1993 through their eleven rescue campuses, they don’t have a rescue home in the Western province of Kenya. That is why African Missions Project along with Mully Children Family [ MCF ] is targeting this area to make a positive impact on these children's lives in this county.

Would You Give Financially to Complete our MCF / AMP Street Children Rescue Home:

We have already raised $120,000 USD and purchased 10 acres of land, and fenced it in and put up a security gate, office, along with a Boys dormitory, and administration offices. We still need to raise money to build a Girl's dormitory, eight school classrooms, and a dining hall. This will enable us to open the doors of our Rescue Home and start to take care of these children's lives.

Our Goal Is To Raise $100,000 by July 30, 2024

Dr. Charles Mully will be visiting with us from July 17th to the 21st to fundraise for the completion of our Street Children Rescue Home. We will be hosting a fundraising dinner on Friday night, July 19th at 6 p.m. at a location to be determined in the Wilkes Barre / Scranton area. This will be an excellent opportunity for you to partner with us in “Building and Advancing God’s Kingdom in Kenya. If you would to partner financially with us before then, you can go online at www.africanmp.org to give or send a check to AMP and mail to:
